Call for nominations: 7 Most Endangered Programme 2026!
30 aug
All over Europe, our shared cultural heritage is under growing threat: from natural and human-made disasters to the impacts of climate-change, conflict, neglect, poorly planned development, violation of the rule of law, and lack of funding.
If you know of a heritage site or tradition in danger, nominate it for the 7 Most Endangered Programme 2026!
The 7 Most Endangered Programme is run by Europa Nostra – the leading European heritage civil society network – in partnership with the European Investment Bank Institute. It is supported by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, through the network project Europa Nostra Heritage Agora.
Since 2013, the 7 Most Endangered Programme has brought visibility, support, and urgent action to 70 monuments and heritage sites in 33 countries; and many of them have since been safeguarded for both present and future generations. Each site on the final list is eligible to receive an EIB Heritage Grant of €10,000 to support the first steps towards saving the site. See the sites selected since the launch of the programme.
